Here’s Why Adele Says She Won’t Perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show!

At a concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night, Adele told her fans that the NFL asked her to be a part of Super Bowl LI in Houston on February 5, 2017 – but she declined.

“First of all, I’d like to say that I’m not doing the Super Bowl,” Adele said. “I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really put on… I don’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no.”

“ I’m sorry. Maybe next time, for my next album, because I’m going to do a dance album next time. So maybe I’ll do it then,”she told the audience.

“I know I’m not Beyoncé, I can’t dance or anything like that,” Adele added.

On Saturday, the British songstress took the opportunity to address another rumor that has been floating around on the periphery.

“I’m having a cheese baby,” the singer joked, caressing her stomach to mock reports that she might be pregnant. “Stupid rumors. They’re so f-king stupid,” she said.
