OMG: LADY GAGA New Album “Joanne” + Artwork

After a long wait, Lady Gaga has finally announced her new studio album “Joanne”. The album is named after her late aunt who died in 1974, as well as her own middle name and will be out Oct. 21. Another interesting fact is that Gaga’s father, Joe Germanotta, also named his New York restaurant Joanne Trattoria after his late sister.

The ‘Perfect Illusion’ hitmaker previously revealed the album name and release date during an interview on Beats 1, and promised that the artwork would follow in the ‘coming hours’.

Speaking of “Joanne”, the title track for the new album, Gaga said: “For me it’s the real heart and soul of the record. We wrote that song and the decision to ultimately name the album Joanne was in tribute to my father’s sister who died when she was 19. The death of her in his family and his life really left a scar and a wound that never healed.”

Gaga’s new album, her fifth, will include songs such as “Sinner’s Prayer,” “John Wayne,” “Joanne,” and “Ayo,” alongside the already confirmed “Hey Girl” and lead single “Perfect Illusion”.

We are extremely excited for Lady Gaga’s new album! Are you?
